So I've been roped in again. The club lasts 5 weeks, a dozen 8-11 year olds.
Plan on mostly having them play. First day, try to show them how to finish a game. Last time around they just pushed wood forever. Then hold a 4 round swiss, figuring that most games will be over quickly.
Question is, how do I deal with the smell that a dozen kids in an overheated room put out? And should I let them use the computers?
Having not played a serious game since 1988, I'm not in any shape to handle it if the next Capablanca turns up.
