Katherine Jackson wants "a seat at the table" in all matters involving Michael Jackson's estate. Katherine's lawyer, Londell McMillan, tells us Katherine called him the day Michael died, asking him to come to the house. McMillan says when he showed up the first weekend, Katherine and Joe expressed "concern" over the estate and hired him to represent Katherine's legal interests.McMillan says Katherine will not challenge the will, but as far as the executors are concerned, he says, "She deserves a seat at the table at a minimum." McMillan would not say if Katherine merely wanted to be named as a third executor or whether she wanted to challenge John Branca and John McClain, the named co-executors.

Sources within the Jackson family inner circle are reportedly saying that if Katherine Jackson, Michael Jackson's mom, gets custody of his kids as per the late singer's will, Michael's big sister Rebbie Jackson will raise the children. Maureen Reillette "Rebbie" Brown (née Jackson) is 59. She is the eldest of the nine children (Michael was the seventh) of Katherine and Joe Jackson. Rebbie Jackson is currently living with Katherine at the family's Encino home and caring for the kids day-to-day. All three children are said to adore their aunt. Rebbie has always kept a low public profile - she has even been called the "forgotten" member of Jackson family - but privately she has been deeply involved in the lives of Michael's children, Paris, Prince Michael and Blanket. She lives in Las Vegas with her husband of 40 (!) years. While the Jackson family is deeply divided on issues involving Michael's estate, there is supposedly no argument when it comes to Rebbie caring for the kids. Rebbie Jackson has three grown children, Stacee, 37, Yashi, 31, and Austin, 24.

Jackson's hair gets new life

Now, you can really "rock" with him. Charred strands of Michael Jackson's hair that were salvaged from the shoot of a tragic Pepsi commercial have been sold and will be turned into diamonds. Once Jackson was en route to the hospital, Cohen retrieved a charred lock of hair, which remained in his possession until he sold it to collector John Reznikoff, who has assembled a collection of hair from famous figures such as Abraham Lincoln, Albert Einstein and Marilyn Monroe. Reznikoff, in turn, is working with a Chicago-based company, LifeGem, to create a small number of laboratory diamonds that will eventually be sold. Dean VandenBiesen, founder of LifeGem, said in a statement that the company was evaluating the hair sample to determine how many diamonds can be created. A portion of the hair will remain in Reznikoff's collection.

Jacksons want allowance

A request from attorneys handling Michael Jackson's estate is asking a judge to approve an allowance for the deceased singer's three children and his mother, Katherine Jackson.

Finally, Beckloff approved a deal Thursday that will bring Michael Jackson's 1988 autobiography, "Moonwalk," back to store shelves. A release date wasn't determined, but estate administrators said a quick release would maximize sales.

Law enforcement sources tell us they are finding a tangled web of aliases that doctors used to prescribe drugs for Michael Jackson. As we reported Jackson used a variety of aliases to score drugs, including Omar Arnold, Michael Armstrong, Jack London and Peter Midani. We're told Jackson particularly favored the name Omar Arnold. Here's how crazy it got: The L.A. County Coroner's office took Jackson's medical records from Dr. Arnold Klein last week. Law enforcement sources tell us, Klein used the name Omar Arnold on some of the files. We're told inside those files, the doctor refers to Jackson by his real name. In several cases where Dr. Klein treated Jackson under the name Omar Arnold, we're told he sent the singer to the Spalding Pain Medical Clinic in Beverly Hills, where he performed procedures on Jackson, who was given general anesthesia. But the files at Spalding referred to Jackson by an alias other than Omar Arnold. Our sources say the doctor who runs the surgery center made it easy on the Coroner and voluntarily handed over the files in question.

New details released for LV Jackson tribute

Las Vegas performers will come together on August 29 to celebrate the life and legacy of Michael Jackson.

"Las Vegas Celebrates Michael Jackson" takes place at the Pearl at the Palms the day of what would have been Jackson's 51st birthday. Tickets for the show, which range from $39-$129, go on sale Saturday, July 25 at noon. A VIP package, which includes VIP seating, access to the afterparty with the cast, a gift bag and limited-edition autographed poster, is available for $504. The King of Pop's songbook will be performed by cast members of the Las Vegas productions of Jersey Boys, The Lion King, Peepshow and Phantom-The Las Vegas Spectacular. In addition, the show will contain video montages from those who knew Jackson or were inspired by his work. The acts will be backed by a 10-piece orchestra under the direction of Vegas' own Joey Melotti.

Sony Pictures to release Michael Jackson concert film in October

Sony Pictures has paid $60 million for the rights to release a movie of footage shot during Michael Jackson's rehearsals for his This Is It concert tour, according to the Hollywood Reporter. The film will hit theaters October 30. According to other reports, AEG Live, which is said to have 80 hours of rehearsal footage at its disposal, and Jackson's family will split Sony's money, with Jackson's family receiving 90 percent of the fee and establishing a charity in the late singer's name.
