this is the one I remember from 7th grade and the guy sitting next to me being a huuuuge fan wearing it it seemed every day
And you know? I don't think I've ever owned a band tee in my life.

Best selling band t-shirts |

What band do you think has sold the most t-shirts ever? I'm thinking licensed tees, not your home made ones or rip-off. My first inclination was Ozzy/Black
Sabbath, but when the feller kinda poo-pooed that guess, then I went with KISS. He countered with Metallica. The Stones have a pretty rich t-shirt history, but
it's gotta be a metal band.

my first thought was AC/DC, but on further reflection i think something like this one seems pretty popular. little shoe has one and i made her know and be
able to name 3 doors songs before i let her wear it to school one day. i just know some kid who really knows the doors is gonna come up to her and think
she's a poser. she needed to be prepared.
but i bet the grateful dead and the ramones are up there, too.

yah, on the way to work this morning, I thought of AC/DC, too. Cool that you make her learn the doors songs. I tend to listen to a couple radio stations, one
that plays only classics and one that plays a mix of today's stuff and classics. I constantly quiz the kids who the band/artist is whose song is playing at
the time (assuming I even know it). I started with only Stones songs, then Skynard, then have built from there.

hey, i do the same thing. it usually goes like this:
me: what band is this? her: uhhh, i know this one. its ahhhhhhh me: yes, you do know it, just guess, first instinct her: what letter does it start with? me: awww c'mon you know this one her: *whine* me: ok, it starts with G her: ummmmm, ggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggguuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu? me: yep keep going! her: gunnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnsssssssssssssssssss me: you got it! her: guns and roses? me: yep her: I KNEW IT RIGHT AWAY! she does it with me, too, with newer bands and i can be pretty clueless sometimes. eta: she can get metallica, pink floyd, ozzie, and zepplin most of the time.

I'll go along with Shoe-y. I'm willing to bet Grateful Dead is in the top 3 for all-time sales. There's been too many dead heads wearing them for
too many years (sometimes between bathing), to not have a blip on the t-shirt charts.

I would guess that plain white tees are worn the most - I wear one every weekday under my work shirts.
I ask you to kill Superman, and you're telling me you couldn't even do that one, simple thing. |

Which band sells those? Maybe the Beatles... the White Album.
