I've been reading speculation that Locke is actually dead, but the guy we see walking around is the anti-jacob guy using Locke's form.

I've read that too. The guy from the beginning, nameless one, has taken the shape of the smoke monster and those that have died - Christian, Eko's
brother, and now Locke - to do his bidding because he can't do stuff himself. The loophole, perhaps?

I'd say this show jumped the shark, but that would be an understatement. More accurately, this show jumped the shark, then afterwards dove in for some
hand-to-fin mortal combat with the shark, yanked the shark's spleen out with its teeth and ripped off it's head to wear as a party hat. The show then
launched itself into the air to vaporize the shark's corpse with pinpoint accurate lasers shot out of its ass, and then it proceeded to fly
counterclockwise arond the earth's axis until it hit the speed of light, traveled back in time and killed the shark before it was even born.
True story. |

First scene a mystery guy was talking to Jacob about how he wanted to find a loop hole and kill him. Last scene Jacob says to fake Locke "so you found a
loophole." Ergo, fake Locke = ancient mystery guy from 1st scene = possibly Smoke monster. Good vs Evil...yada yada....

so that pit Locke fell into after Ben shot him, could all of those dead bodies be those that were at the swan site when the bomb blew?

Not that I watch the show but I thought it was shown in a past episode that those were the people from Dharmaville that were killed by the Others gas attack
when Ben betrayed them (and killed his own father in the van.) Although I think it was Ben who told Locke this, and of course now we know that could have all
been a lie cause thats what Ben does...lies.

So, IDP. How does it feel, to be like a salmon swimming upstream?

IncrediblyDarkPenguin wrote: Ben (and the "others") gassed the village in the 80's. That was shown in a flashback, not just something Ben said. So it happened. The question is, if the bomb goes off in 1977 how does that affect what happened(s) in the future? Can the future be changed? |

I've caught up on episodes and I can say in a firm tone: What the fuck is going on?

I did not watch this episode as my "Lost is lost to me" vow of celibacy is still in force.
