Not exactly the same time period, but the same place at the same time. So, my question is can old Ben be at the same place young Ben is at.

LMAO @ the Asian guy / Hurley conversation about time travel and using the Back to the Future reference like I did!

Whats the deal with all these people on the island having issues with their dads?
Sayid -- his dad was a cruel bastard (at least to Sayid's pussy-ass non-chicken-killing brother) Jack -- his dad was a philandering drunk Sawyer -- his dad is dead, but he hates a dad figure so much he kills him. Ben -- his dad was an abusive drunk Sun -- her dad is mobster/industrialist Penny -- her dad is an international tycoon/hires murderers Hurley -- his dad was non-existant until Hurley won the lottery Kate -- hated her step-dad so much she lit the house on fire Claire -- (See Jack) Aaron -- his dad couldn't take the responsibility of it all... Locke -- con-man, organ thief, etc etc
I've Got Some Rage.

My theory since like season 2 is that everything in this show goes back to everyone's relationship with their father, and the issues they may or may not
have had..
I guess it's a common thread that's going to tie them all together in the end? Maybe Wilt Chamberlain fathered them all |

I'm just glad that they actually addressed the part that doesn't make any sense, with Hurley's question about wouldn't Ben remember Sayid was
the guy who shot him as a child. I guess whatever the Others did to save young Ben erased his childhood memories of Jack, Hurley, Sawyer, Kate, Juliet and
Sayid.
You say I'm a bitch like it's a bad thing...

Kinda hard to know what's going on in ole Ben's mind ya know. -Mal |

Well, I thought they addressed that when Richard said "he won't remember any of this."

Yer probably right about that Sara, but I would just as likely believe that older Ben did remember everything but didn't let on...cause that would be so
very Ben.

I think Rose and Bernard are Jacob.
I'm pretty sure i'm right. It makes perfect sense once you really think and meditate on it. |

I really enjoyed tonight's episode. It answered a lot of questions for me. I see more of the whole time story of the story of the island now. I really
like the Desmond character so I am glad Ben didn't kill Des and Penny. Ben blowing that new dude away with his own shotgun surprised me.

I did snicker when Ben "flushed" as the signal to call out the smoke monster. I just knew the tidy bowl man was watching from the shadow of the
statue.
