This afternoon, the CDC released new guidelines that schools don't need to close at all over this virus so they have since put the automated call system in action to notify us all that classes will resume district-wide tomorrow. *Let the poor girl go, and that poor little dog, DoDo. Elphaba, I know you dont want to hear this, but somebody has to say it. You are out of control! I mean, come on! They're just shoes! Let it go!*

Now I've got all the parents from my team emailing me -- "do you think Billy was EXPOSED?????". Oy. I've Got Some Rage.

Mitchell Weiner, 55, assistant principal at Intermediate School 238 in Queens, died at 6:17 p.m. Sunday, Flushing Hospital spokesman Andrew Rubin said. "We believe he had complications of the swine flu," Rubin told CNN Radio, adding that once Weiner was admitted to the hospital, he was listed in critical condition. You don't know if you have swine flu, they swab the inside of your nose with a swab that fits into a tube and send it off to the labs. By the time the results get back you are well.
