My brother recently told me a story about a woman who phoned his office to complain. He works for the municipality. The woman was mad that there were dozens of
crows coming to her yard every day and were making quite a mess. This was not acceptable to her and she wanted something done about it! My brother's boss;
without skipping a beat in the conversation; asked whereabouts in the municipality she lived. When she told him, he answered, "Oh, those crows actually
fly in here everyday from Burnaby (a neighbouring city), so you'll have to call them if you want to complain". She thanked him and hung up.
