howdy 2 thefren, et al. (btw, for old time's sake... it's freEk, fren)

and where do I party? well, for the past 3 summer's it's been with my family and rosie o'donnell's gang of gazin' lesbiens, too.

ya see, my otherwise completely sane sister (she's got a PHD, I got my THC) has always been a HUGE rosie fan. she's been on nearly every "rfamilyvacations" cruise w/her spouse and daughter, and my parents have joined them all but one time. 3 years ago my mom offered to bring me on-board, and as much as it freeked me out a bit, I went and had a amazing time... now, I'm kinda hooked (well, as long as they keep paying my way, that is) ;-)

next year's cruise leaves from vancouver, so it'll be a damn easy trek for me.

may add a few stories from the cruises (like how my mom was trying to corrupt the guy who currently runs mr. hooper's old store on sesame street), but for now will just add a couple more pics.

if you're over 40, you'll probably remember this "broadway legend" ... and there's also a good chance you have her voice on the soundtrack to her show, as well. (it's andrea mcardle, the original "Annie")

she was performing with her daughter on this cruise, and they're definitely a talented pair. (she's super friendly, and supah-hot, too. her daughter stuck her tongue out at me, though) ;-)

after we realized that we were born within 3 weeks of each other (just before the kennedy assassination), we kinda made a small connection. later that night, I saw her in the ship's casino (oh, you here to lose all your money, too? she asked.) and she became the first victim to hold up one of the damn signs I'd been carrying around in a magazine for much of the cruise.

also, I've never embedded a yootoob vid before, but found this thing that was filmed a few hours after kynt and vyxsin held up my sign(s). looks like they stole my shtick at the end of the vid! ;-) (ok, now I realize I have NO idea how to embed a vid. maybe I should ask blocky... will just hyperling the damn think instead)
