A downer, intense film. I loved it. I found the ending a bit confusing, regarding the intention. But other than that, I enjoyed it. I will definitely read the book in order to gain more insight.

I really liked this movie. Very entertaining. Robert Downey Jr. is not just a good choice to play Tony Stark/Ironman. He's the best choice possible. He is quirky and he is doing his thang. He plays him as a real character with a genuine character arc. He makes the show. He acted like he was really into inventing the armour, selling arms to the military, playing the playboy. He's interesting wether he's Ironman or not.

The Ironman armour is way cooler than expected. In the comics it was...

the movie was cute-ish and kept my interest, cause I like the game and have learned basic strategy, but very predictible and sometimes unrealistic.

Observations:

1. Kevin Spacey looks waaay cooler as white trash than a Harvard prof

2. Is Vegas the be-all end-all of casino gambling? Are there not other venues to make money at?

3. Kate Bosworth looks like a cold fish

4. I suck at guess ethnicities. What is this actress's?

there will be blood - i didnt get it. i mean, it was well done and all... i just didn't give a shit.

the orphanage - i enjoyed this more than there will be blood, but it had its flaws as well... i hardly gave a fuck. and the end was weird. although i didnt see it coming so that was appreciated.

the a team movie - i called it! ice cube was on conan lobbying for the role of b.a., and he did the voice perfect. then they showed a photoshpped mohawk and gold on him, and it was spot...

Absolutely awesome documentary about the man who has held the record high score of Donkey Kong since 1982, and the guy who decided to challenge that score over 20 years later.

I got to see it Saturday night. I have been really wanting to see this movie because I like musicals and love John Travolta. I have never seen the 1988 Ricki Lake movie version, nor seen the show performed on stage, so did not really have any frame of reference for this movie. Carlisle, my drag queen hairdresser who loves the 1988 version and is going to audition for the Edna (John Travolta's) character for Louisville's stage version...

This is a terrific movie musical - a small story that unfolds the same way as songs on a great album youre hearing for the first time. It wont be in many theaters, but take advantage if you get the chance. It hits grace notes.
